COMMENTARY - 1 SAMUEL 17-20 -

Step #3 - Stop & PRAY, asking God to speak to you and give you the power of the Holy Spirit to help you write the Scriptures you just listened to / read on your heart, giving you HIS divine revelation & wisdom into the deeper meanings.

Step #4 - REVIEW & study - as time permits - additional support, & research we will have here to further help explain today's Scriptures. And if you have anything you think would be helpful, attach it below or contact us and we will review and happily share here.

1. I love love this worship song by Lucy Grimble called Goliath

2. How old was David when he slayed Goliath? He had to be under 20, because he was not able to go to war, but his older brothers with. Remember, we learned from Exodus that only men 20 years and older could go to war. So the powerful lesson? David was anointed king by Samuel before he slayed Goliath. David became King at age 30 (same age Jesus started his ministry) it tells us in 2 Samuel 5:4 and so remember - God might give your calling and anointing at a young age, but it might take years for you to be ready to take on the role. So be patient - you did not hear wrong, but God is preparing and perfecting you for your role. Love this video that shows the Scripture to support this.

Step #5 - DISCUSS the Scriptures with the World - by telling us what you love & agree with, what you disagree with, any questions you have that we would be happy to answer, how it is changing your life, personal testimony, etc.
