1 - A MUST watch! So, so good! This pastor brilliantly shows how Isaac completely points to Christ! And totally shows how all of the details of Abraham's potential sacrifice of Isaac - the mountain, the wood, the place - point to the CROSS!!! Chills! So so good! If you ever wonder if God really loves you, you just need to look to the cross!!!
2 - I love that this Jewish Rabbi is telling us that for the Jewish people, they only had God to rely on so they have to believe in the miraculous!!! Wow! Jewish tradition believes Isaac was approx 36-37 years old when Abraham was to sacrifice him! What? I thought he was only a boy, but based upon Scripture and him carrying the wood, most historians think he was a young man. And since he points and foreshadows Jesus, I think he was 33!!! What do you think? See why I love, love studying the Scriptures - such a fun mystery to solve every day!! Yeehaw!!! :)
3 - Just love that Isaac - at the time of Abraham almost sacrificing him - was probably the age of Jesus - 33 - when he died!!! The entire Bible, every word, every story, every person, every historical event, every number points to the REDEEMER = JESUS!!! Brilliant!!! How can anyone not believe in God? Just sooooo sad! HE is the ONLY TRUE GOD!!! Thank you, Father!!!
4 - This video makes me want to sell everything and move to Israel and study this all day long. :) The fact that Abraham went up to Mt. Moriah to sacrifice Isaiah as it tells us in Genesis 22 has been hugely significant in the history of the Jews and Islam. The rock where this happened is under the Dome of the Rock, because to them, Abraham is their father, too, as we know from Scriptures. To the Jews, this is a holy spot and to Christians also, so this history of what has been built on this rock is sooooo important in End Times prophecy and the ongoing struggle for control of Jerusalem. Alot of Jews believe this is where the 3rd Temple will be built before the Messiah can come back. But is it? This guy makes a compelling case that this is not accurate. I have been in the Dome of the Rock and went down and touched that Rock. They now do not allow "infidels" in so I feel so extremely blessed that I was able to go to the Temple Mount and into the Dome of the Rock before they closed it off to anyone but Muslims. All a mystery that I believe we will see come to fruition in our lifetime!! Very exciting!!!
