Step #2 - LISTEN to Commentary

COMMENTARY - EXODUS 16-18 -
00:00 / 00:00

Step #3 - Stop & PRAY, asking God to speak to you and give you the power of the Holy Spirit to help you write the Scriptures you just listened to / read on your heart, giving you HIS divine revelation & wisdom into the deeper meanings.

Step #4 - REVIEW & study - as time permits - additional support, & research we will have here to further help explain today's Scriptures. And if you have anything you think would be helpful, attach it below or contact us and we will review and happily share here.

1. God said, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you! Who is the manna from heaven? Jesus!! With the Israelites every step of the journey in the desert! Love that the Gaither Band captures this in the song "Manna from Heaven" accurately stating its Jesus himself feeding the Israelites and us today as HE is the Bread of Life!

2. To truly grasp the amazing miracle the Lord did for the Israelites in providing over 3 million people with water, flowing water, in the desert, you must see how dry and barren the Desert of Sin is. And who is the Rock of Horeb? Of course Jesus, who is our rock and our living water, for when we drink from Him, we will never thirst again. Paul recounts today's stories to the Church in Corinth, warning the Church that even though God did all of these amazing miracles and provided perfectly, they grumbled and were totally ungrateful.

1 Corinthians 10:1-4 - "For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food (manna from heaven) and drank the same spiritual drink (water from the Rock of Horeb); for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert."

3. So let's not be like the Israelites who all died in the desert because they grumbled and were totally ungrateful for the miracles God did. Let's instead be like Chance the Rapper and KNOW that when the Praises go UP, the blessings will not stop coming down!!! Praise HIM all day today!!

Step #5 - DISCUSS the Scriptures with the World - by telling us what you love & agree with, what you disagree with, any questions you have that we would be happy to answer, how it is changing your life, personal testimony, etc.
