The point of ALL of the commands that God gives us is to FREE us and LOVE us and BLESS us!! This guy nails it perfectly explaining how and why we are to honor the Sabbath and all of the commands God has given us!! Love, love this video by www.gotquestions.org about tattoos. Really puts it into perspective from a New Testament standard about living holy and bringing honor to God in all that we do. Everything might be permissible, but is it beneficial to be His brightest lights and set ourselves apart from the degrading culture? A great question to ask yourself before you put a permanent marker on your body. It's a heart issue to me and only God knows a heart.
Leviticus 20...
22 Keep all of My decrees and laws and follow them, so that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out.
23 You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.
24 But I said to you, “You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
I am the Lord your God, who has set you apart from the nations.
