Ready to Accept Jesus?
"Thomas said to him,
'Lord, we don't know where
You are going,
so how can we know the way?'
Jesus answered,
'I am the way & the truth
& the life.
No one
comes to the Father
except through Me.
If you really know Me,
you will know
My Father as well.
From now on, you do know
Him & have seen Him.'"

Christianity - Is all about Jesus!!! A personal relationship with Him for eternity. He is the only way to get back to God the Father after Adam and Eve ate the fruit and chose sin over obedience. God had to allow freewill and choice, as you cannot have LOVE without them. God is only perfect and holy - so beyond our comprehension - that He cannot allow sin and evil to coexist with Him forever, as that would not be love!
The Bible tells us that those who CHOSE Jesus and accepted Him as the true Messiah and Savior of the world were first called "Christians," which means Christ's Ones, His followers, His disciples at Antioch. Here is what the Apostle Luke tells us in Acts 11:26 - "So for a whole year, Barnabas and Saul met with the Church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." Antioch was and is a city in south-central Turkey. So, REMEMBER - Christianity was founded in the 1st century AD in the Middle East - it is not a Western religion founded in America. :)
Throughout the Scriptures, God tells us that Jesus is coming back for His Bride - what He calls His believers or THE Church. In Revelations 22:7, Jesus says "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." My greatest desire is that you would be caught up with Him when He returns and live with Him forever back in Paradise, which is just the New Earth = the earth as God perfectly created it back in the Garden of Eden.
My Testimony - I wasn't raised in a Christian home. My Mom was English Protestant and my Dad was Irish Catholic, and they and their families grew up in England and Ireland when Protestants and Catholics did not even walk on the same side of the street. So, religion and Church were a sore subject in my household.
It was a family friend who asked my Mom if she could take me to Church on Sundays when I was in 4th grade. When I went to Sunday School and heard the stories of Jesus, I knew instantly they were true. I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me and I have never doubted since. I can feel it as if it were yesterday. I was so convinced it was the truth, that I used to go home after Church and beg my parents to believe. I loved, loved the Bible instantly and the more I have studied it and understood it, the more I have fallen in love with it and its Author.
So, as you can see, my Christian faith was not forced upon me by my family but, instead, has always been a choice. And since believing in 4th grade, I have studied the Bible and the history of every world religion ever since, falling more in love with God and His Word the more I study. Hence, why I want every person to believe and know it and love it, so they can know and love Him and live their best life possible.
I love you too much not to be bold, as the Bible says that those who do not accept Christ before they die (John 3:16), will perish in hell for eternity, separated from God and all that is lovely and perfect, because that is what YOU CHOSE, and true love has to give you that choice, however sad the wrong one is.
God has made sure you have heard the truth and if you reject Him on this earth, then why would you want to be stuck with Him for eternity? This life is just a TEST - a freewill choice - to make sure when you are in perfect paradise with no choice left but pure bliss, you were not forced as a robot, but, instead, as a thinking, free creation, who was deeply loved.
The Important 5 Truths I want you to know to be Saved -
Below are great resources I use with permission from Josh McDowell, and added my own points or additional commentary. They are four easy to understand Truths (what Josh calls Spiritual Laws) of the whole point and problem of life, sin and why we need Jesus as our Savior. That if we believe these truths in our hearts and accept Christ, then we will be washed of our sin and in heaven forever. And the 5th is my Step of how you accept Jesus right here and now.
The below are a quick summary of only a few of the many Bible verses that tell us of our fall, our sin and our separation from God, and what we need to do to receive the free gift of salvation, which means we get to get back to the Garden and perfect Paradise and back into the presence of the Creator of Heaven and Earth and all things, something we cannot even wrap our minds around.

TRUTH #1 - God loves you & has a perfect plan for your life!
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." - John 3:16
Jesus said, "I came that they may have live and have it abundantly" - a complete life of purpose."- John 10:10
TRUTH #2 - Man is sinful and sin separates us from a Holy, Perfect God!
We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls "sin." The definition of sin is missing the mark, God's perfect ways. The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God. (Romans 6:23)
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, call God a liar & the truth is not in us." - 1 John 1:8
Jesus said, "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." - Matthew 12:30
TRUTH #3 - God came down in the form of a man, a Son, to model how much He loves us as His beloved children and then died for our sins, once & for all, to redeem us for all eternity!
But there is good news - Jesus died in our place so we could live with Him in eternity.
"God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
Paul wrote in Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That is GRACE, my friends, a free gift that you cannot earn!! God made it sooo easy for you to be reconciled back to Him!
But it didn't end with His death on the cross, because He rose again and still lives!!! If you say "YES" to Jesus and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, ALL of your sins - past, present and future - will be forgiven, as you confess and repent of them, and you will live in heaven with God - PERFECTION AGAIN - for eternity!!!
TRUTH #4 - Would you like to receive God's forgiveness?
We can't earn salvation; we are saved by God's grace alone when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. All you have to do is believe you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then, turn from your sins - that's called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you. He knows your thoughts and heart and everything about you, even more than you! That is truth! What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty, your sincerity, your humility.
MY STEP #5 - If you believe and agree with all of the above, then PRAY NOW this prayer and you will be saved for eternity!
Dear God, my Father - I believe in Jesus, your Son, who came down to earth to die on the cross for my sins so I could be reconciled again to a perfect, loving God who created me to be in relationship with Himself for all eternity!
I know I am a sinner, only saved by YOUR GRACE and not any works I could do, no matter how good I do them can make me perfect to be in Your presence, and so I ask you for the forgiveness of my sins, to forgive me of all of my sins. Because I am asking sincerely, You have heard this prayer and have forgiven me instantly of all of it - none of my past sins are left, and ALL have been forgiven and paid with the blood of Jesus on that cross.
I accept You into my heart as my Lord and Savior of my life and give You permission to lead me and walk with me, as your Holy Spirit now indwells me with Your power, and guides me and protects me from the evil one. I surrender my life to You now with open hands and an open heart.
I trust that You know best and only want my very best and are only Perfect Love that I cannot even comprehend. I trust that You have the most perfect and amazing plan for my life, though not easy or without pain, if only I will seek You first and pray to You and allow You to speak. In order to hear You, though, I must be still daily and quiet to listen for Your voice above all others. I am so beyond thankful that YOU have now given me Your Holy Spirit to lead me all of the days of my life until I am reunited again with You for eternity.
I love you so much and thank you so much for saving me and giving me Your Holy Spirit to guide me and teach and empower me to do all things, even the miraculous. Please, Jesus, give me the faith to move mountains and believe the impossible and the wisdom and heart to love Your Word, the Bible, and spend my days reading it and learning it & loving it, solely so I can know You and love You with my all.
Thank you that I am now redeemed and saved and will be with You from this day forward and for eternity!!! Amen!!!!!
